Terms of service

About these terms

These terms apply when you use brightpencilkids.shop or buy from BrightPencilKids, a small business based in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada. By placing an order you agree to them.

Our products

We sell printable digital educational resources, including the Learn to Write Workbook by Prof. N. Alagbu and the Learn to Write Starter Kit. They are delivered as downloadable files (PDF or ZIP). No physical item is sent.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless the store shows your local currency. Your bank may convert the amount and charge its own fees. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order.

Delivery

Your download link appears straight after checkout and is also sent to the email address you gave us. Please check your spam folder if it hasn't arrived within a few minutes, and contact us if you can't find it.

Your licence to use the files

When you buy, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to download and print the files:

  • for your own children and family, or
  • for use in one classroom or by one teacher, tutor or childminder.

You may print as many copies as you need for that use. You may not share, resell, upload, redistribute or give away the files (or printed copies made for sale), or use them for commercial purposes, without our written permission. The free sample may be shared as a whole with its credits intact.

Copyright

All content, including text, illustrations and page designs, is copyright Prof. N. Alagbu and BrightPencilKids unless stated otherwise. Some tracing fonts are by Kimberly Geswein (kimberlygeswein.com) and are used under a commercial licence.

Using the products with children

Our workbooks are designed for children aged 3 and over, used with an adult. Please supervise children with pencils, crayons, scissors and other materials.

Refunds

Please see our Refund policy.

Liability

We work hard to make sure our files are accurate and work properly. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we're not responsible for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you're a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any protections your local law gives you.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
